Continuing Education Programmes (CEPs)

Several short-term courses (STCs) are organised for professionals from industry and R&D establishments on a need basis. The programmes are tailor-made to suit the requirements of industries. CEPs are divided into two categories: Internal CEPs and External CEPs. From inception in 1980 to 2017, a total of 1544 STCs have been conducted, from which 1,95,142 participants have benefitted. Eighty to ninety such programmes are generally organised every year. During 2016–2017, 80 STCs were conducted, and 59,791 participants attended these programmes.

CEP's are classified as Internal and External based on where they are conducted.
